Kathryn is a relatively new artist who began her artistic development in the fall of 2008 after retiring from a career in healthcare. She is primarily self taught through individual study, workshops and trial and error. She has been exposed to and has experimented thus far with watercolors, acrylics, collage, pastels and oils. Kathryn paints in an impressionist or representational style and enjoys, in particular, art that involves human figures in everyday settings. She is an active member of West Texas Watercolor Society and Art League of West Texas Foundation.
