Art has played an important part of my life since the first time I realized I could draw as a teenager. The desire to create art beckoned to me as I registered for my first semester of college classes, and I later graduated with a BA in Studio Art, my emphasis in painting. Art is revealing; it communicates. Through art and the guidance of my college professors, I began to learn a lot about myself. I learned how to ask questions, and in time, God would always reveal answers. These answers contained freedom. Through any discipline, I believe that there are opportunities to learn. It is in the disciplines that capture us we find ourselves most receptive. One of my desires is to share opportunities with others. My ability to share grows as I continue to grow and learn more about myself.
